Starlights is the elite women’s show choir at Northridge High School, with 38 singers/dancers, 12 band members, and 11 crew members. They have been recognized at both state and national levels, having been named Grand Champions in their division at multiple competitions, and have consistently won the caption awards for Best Vocals, Best Visuals, Best Band, and Best Stage Crew. This year’s show takes on the theme of the Valkyries from Norse mythology. Starlights Orchestra is directed by Angie Black, with arrangements from Aaron Coates and costumes by Haus of Lanoue. Starlights is choreographed by Joe Sato, and is under the direction of Wilson Wang and Sandra Manglos, with assistant direction from Noah Troyer.
